"Nowadays" & "Posthumous Flashback" series
Séries "Aqui Agora" e "Flashback Póstumo"
"Gato Leo" was my house cat for very special years of my life.
After he leaves, I begin to think about it, and have sketched a lot of the stories he tells.
It's been more than two decades since we've been exchanging some psychic messages through the cosmos.
You see... he has been living and wandering across our galaxy for a long and good time now.
Last time we talked, he was working on a Worlds' Restorers Science Ship.
The "Posthumous Flashback" and "Nowadays" are two parallel sci-fi and mystery comic series in which I tell the before-and-after gato Leo's exile from Earth, being welcomed by unearthly friends and the interplanetary community of exiled entities. The series was buried due to the censorship of the platforms, namely Tapas and Webtoon. The reception of the public there was really great and promising for the short time it lasted, and I'm willing to continue it here, but the process is very laborious and when the two platforms that it was hosted censured my content, it was a punch in the stomach and a kick in my balls.
At the height of collective paranoia and fear, I wrote a chapter about the polarized society drowning in panic during the pandemic - and no, I did not talk against vaccines nor deny the existence of the virus, let alone support fascists, be them conservatives or "social" red-washed authoritarian populists - NEVER! I've just exposed briefly and in shallow depth some associations between billionaires & their corporations, with politicians, fake public institutions (not elected), and imperialistic military agencies - which are all actually proven true and well known, well... nowadays. Those subjects aren't even the main thematic of these comics in general.
Anyway, apparently it was a big problem.
If you want to understand and check for yourself, take a look at the Crazy Nuts Beggar chapter (Confused...), and read it.
I believe it will be obvious whom we should not play with on these days of bakebrains, wireheads and double-think nudging.
May we be safe, true and good to each other in these difficult and eerie times!
